Council Update
Happy Days 2023
This year was notable for the Ramsey Community because
it marked the 25th Annual Happy Days Festival! With that,
we switched some things up this year by starting with the 5K
and Youth Fun Run at a new location, Elmcrest Park. This
new location provided a more scenic route for the runners
and newly paved trails. After the run, the Parade was held
on Sunwood Drive at 11:00 a.m. We followed with various
activities for all ages, including an Expo, Farmers Market,
Ramsey Lions Beer Stand, Inflatables, Chili Cook -Off, Bean
Bag Tournament, Dog Show and more! This year, four more
food vendors were added to the line-up, offering all kinds
of cuisine. While we are on the number 4, we thought it
would be fun to have four bands this year instead of one. This
provided the crowd with music from various genres from
2:00-10:00 p.m. Another fantastic fireworks display lit up the
crowd to cap off the night. This year was another one for the
books: rain or shine! Thank you to our sponsors, the Ramsey
community volunteers and City staff for making Happy Days
successful. See more photos on the City's website at www.
cityoframsey.com/happydays.
