Councilmemb(.~r <br />moved for Jr:; adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #88-116 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IO{:CE]VING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CENTRAL PARK <br />WARMING HOUS)~ IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 88-16 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pNrsuant to an advertisement for bids for the Central <br />Park Warming Ho~se (Project 88-16) bids were received, opened and <br />tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received <br />complying wi:kb {.he advertisement: <br /> <br />Biddei:' <br /> <br />'Cottonwood Construction <br />Karlen (k~nstruction <br />Arbuck](~ (:onstruction <br />Mico Co~tr~ctors <br />Tri-Cou~ty Builders <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />$112,826.00 <br />$112,977.30 <br />$113,201.50 <br />$122,977.50 <br />$124,408.50 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Cottonwood Construction of Maple <br />Grove is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREF()NE, ~!~E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, AN()~A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Tha~ the Mayor and city Administrator/Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Cottonwood <br />Construction of Maple Grove in the name of the City of Ramsey for the <br />Central Park Warming House Project according to the plans and specifi- <br />cations therefore approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in <br />the office of the city Administrator/Clerk. <br /> <br /> 2) Th.e CJ.%y Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids~ except that the deposits of the successful bidder and next <br />lowest bidde~' shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion fox ~he adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by (.'.c)u~[,cilmember DeLuca and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the roi. lowing voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Reimanr~ Councilmembers Cox, DeLuca, Sorteberg, and Pearson <br />and the foliow.~x,g voted against the same: <br /> None <br />and the fo]]_¢e~JNg abstained: <br /> None <br />and the folLlo~;Jr~g were absent: <br /> None <br />whereupon said :~esolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of June, 1988. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
