Councilmc~nbcr [)cLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #88-132 <br /> <br />RESOI,UTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #88-18 TITTERUD <br />TENNIS (]()[II[~T LIGHTING) <br /> <br /> Wt[EREAS, pursuant to a motion passed by the Ramsey City Council in 1987, <br />Hakansor: Anderson Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the Improvement <br />Project #88 -~8 Tilterud Tennis Court Lighting and has presented such plans and specifications to <br />the Council for approval. <br /> <br />NOW TIII,;REI~'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEV,, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Tha~ such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof, arc hereby approved. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Tha~ the (City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper <br />(Anoka Ccmnty Union) and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the <br />maki~g o: such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The <br />adver6sement shall be published for 10 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state <br />that bids will be received by the City Administrator until 11:00 a.m. on August 9, 1988, at <br />whi. cb fmc: they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center by the City Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be <br />consider,xi by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 p.m. on August 9, 1988 in the Council <br />Chmt, bers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid <br />will bt; giwm an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility.
