Councilmember Peterson moved £or Jt:s adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION #89-02- 33 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR C.B.I. NA-CON, INC. (PROJECT ~87--]_9 F.J.,~VATED STORAGE TANK NO. 1). WIt[:REAS, the city Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on April ].4, 1988; and WHEI[EA~, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #88~ awardJ, n.j the bid to C.B.I. Na-Con, Inc. for the construck[oa of elevated Storage Tank No. 1; and WHEI~]~]A~, City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associat~w3, Inc. recommended partial payment to C.B.I. Na-Con, Inc. in the amount of $116,886.80. NOW, THEREF[)RE, BE 2"i~ RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOXA COUNT~', STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: ,~ ]) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to CBI N~C~n, Inc. for the construction of elevated Storage Tank No. 1 in th~ amount of $1].6,886.80. > 2) 7'hg~t the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administ~'ator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) ?t~at the total amount of this partial payment is not included J~ Resolution #89-02r31approving payment of bills for the month of F~}~ruary, 1989. 4) ?hat the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of-this resolution. ~ The motion ;~or the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Dehuca and upon vote being taken thereon,. the fol>~owing voted in favor thereof: Hayor Reilnann, Councilmember Peterson, Dekuca, and Pearson and the [~ol[!.owing voted against the same: NOrle and the F(~!' owing abstained: None and the ~'(fl ] owing were absent: C0un(ilmember Cich whereupon :~aid resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Rams~k City Council this 28th day of ~ebruary, 19~85.
