Councilmember Dr;l.uca inlroduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-05-90 <br /> <br />RESOLU'rioN APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISF, MI:!N"!' FOR BIDS FOR THE DECENTRALIZED BRUSH CHIPPING PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City staff has prepared plans and specifications for the <br />Decentralized Bru:.;h Chipping Program and has presented such plans and specifications to the <br />City Council ~or approval. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsay City Council accepted the Demonstration Grant from <br />Metropolitan C.,.,u~]cil for the Decentralized Brush Chipping Program. <br /> <br />NOW THERIS, I"O-¢IE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 'i ) That such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />made a part ho.mol, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the <br />official paper adwCrtisement for bids upon the making of such services under such approved <br />plans and ,';pacifications. The advertisement shall be published for a period of time in <br />accordance wili~ State Statutes, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be <br />received by the City Administrator until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 23, 1989 and then at said <br />office publicly opened and read aloud as soon as practicable in the Council Chambers of the <br />Ramsay Mur~icip~d Center by the City Administrator and Project Manager, will then be <br />tabulated, ami will be considered by the City Council at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 1989 in <br />the Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of <br />the bid will b~ given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility.
