Councihn:::m! ~o' I_;c huca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-06-128 <br /> <br />RES()I.IJTION DECLARING CITY'S INTENT TO CHANGE METROPOLITAN <br />COUNCH, P©LICY IMPLEMENTING ONE IN TEN ZONING CALCULATED ON <br />TIlE IIAS~S ()F FOUR UNITS IN FORTY ACRES WITHIN THE CITY'S <br />N()N-SI~Wll;~.E;) AREA <br /> <br /> W~'g El{ EAS, a portion of the City of Ramsey is currently within the 1990 Metropolitan <br />Urban Se~ vi,?:/\r{a and is p~tially served by sanitary sewer; and <br /> <br /> ~/~,~ Et~ !i;A S, the City is experiencing significant growth within the urban and rural areas <br />of the City; au, t <br /> <br /> W~ E R LAS, ~he City desires to encourage development within the Urban Service Area <br />of the City in order~ to protect the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens and to protect the natural <br />resources .:)I' 1t'..
