Councilme_m!)er t~;'earson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-10-277 <br /> <br /> W:,tEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider <br />the improvr,r~ir_.tr~i of bituminous surfacing of 178th Lane N.W. and Xenolith Street N.W.; and <br /> <br /> Wi]EREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct <br />porcenta(je of I~wtul signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> Wi-IEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accord with the <br />City Char[e; a~d Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THErtEFOF~E BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNT'.,", STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1 ) That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the <br />improveme;,t o~: bii:uminous surfacing of 178th Lane N.W. and Xenolith Street N.W. has been <br />filed with the City Council on October 10, 1989. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by <br />the required perc~;nlage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to <br />the City of R;~r,~soy Ordinance 210.01 and Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429. <br /> <br /> 2 ) That the petition is hereby referred to Peter Raatikka, City Engineer, and <br />he is inst~u(:te(i to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed <br />advising thc., Col~cil in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible <br />and as to the cost of the project to each affected property owner.
