Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #91-05-116 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO DRESEL CONTRACTING, INC. FOR PROJECT $/89-4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on August 28, 1990; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #90-08-285 awarding the bid to Dresel Contracting, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project 89-4; and WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended partial payment to Dresel Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $132,718.37. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial pay~nent to Dresel Contracting, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #89-4 in the amount of $132,718.37. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #91-05-105 approving payment of bills for the month of May, 1991. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Hardin and the tbllowing voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Cich whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of May, 1991.
