Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #91-07-166 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR DRESEL CONTRACTING, INC. (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-4) WIIEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on August 28, 1991; and WltEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #90-08-285 awarding the bid to Drescl Contracting, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #89-4; and WIIEREAS, thc Consulting Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended partial payment to Dresel Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $109,896,19. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That thc City Council hereby authorized partial payment to Dresel Contracting, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #89-4 in the amount of $109,896.19. 2) That thc City Council hereby authorized the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That thc total mnount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #91-07-163 approving payment of' thc bills for the month of July, 1991. 4) That thc City of Ramscy Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. Thc motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Cich and upon vote being taken thereon, thc following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbcrtson Councihncmbcr ttardin Councihncmber Cich Councihncmbcr Pctcrson Councihncmbcr Beycr and thc following voted against thc same: Nono and the IUllowing abstained: None and the following were absent: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City .Council/~ this 23rd day o 1' July, 1991. ,~~~~~~. ~ty At'~n~inistrator
