PUBLIC [rEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MIBINESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, January 5, 1999, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota, regarding a <br />request for a Conditional Use Permit to Exceed the Total Accessory Structure Space and the <br />Maximum Single Accessory Structure Size Restrictions; Case of Francis and Teresa Moulzolf. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Interim Chairperson Leo Anderson <br />Commissioner Chris Dempsey <br />Comrmsstoner Sharon Jensen <br />Commissioner Robert Johnson <br />Commissioner Bill Kociscak <br />Commissioner Michael Nixt <br />Commissioner Joe Wivoda <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Director Cindy Sherman <br />Community Development Assistant Sean Walther <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Interim Chairperson Anderson convened the public hearing at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik explained the applicants are requesting the conditional use permit to <br />exceed the total accessory structure/garage space allowed and the maximum single accessory <br />structure size restrictions on their property at 14260 Junkite Street NW. The subject property is <br />1.4 acres in size and is restricted to a total of 1,664 square feet of garage and accessory building <br />space. In addition, there is an 800 square foot size restriction on any single accessory structure. <br />The applicants currently have a 600 square foot attached garage and a 450 square foot detached <br />garage. They are proposing to remove the 450 square foot detached garage and replace it with a <br />1,152 square foot garage in order to store personal vehicles and equipment. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated the addition of the proposed 1,152 square foot accessory <br />building will increase the total garage space on the property to 1,752 square feet, which is an 88 <br />square foot overage.
