<br />Councilmember Howell introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br />
<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR HALLS
<br />DOVER ACRES STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-02
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Halls Dover
<br />Acres subdivision; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-130, adopted June 13,
<br />2023, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for topographic
<br />survey of the project area; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-129, adopted June 27,
<br />2023, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Chosen Valley Testing, Inc., for a
<br />geotechnical report of the project area; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-198, adopted August 22,
<br />2023, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said
<br />improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-014, adopted on January
<br />9, 2024, the City Council approved final plans and specification as prepared by the City Engineer
<br />and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking and As-built Survey of
<br />$27,144.00 from Bolton and Menk, Inc. for said improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on January 12 and January
<br />19, 2024; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, ten (10) bids were received, opened and tabulated on February 21, 2024, and
<br />the following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and
<br />advertisement for bids; and
