<br />CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Special Work Session on Thursday, June 20, <br />2024, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Mark Kuzma <br />Councilmember Chelsee Howell <br />Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br />Councilmember Michael Olson <br />Councilmember Dan Specht <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Matt Woestehoff <br /> <br />Also Present: Human Resources Generalist Sue Hurd <br /> <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Kuzma called the City Council Special Work Session to order at 6:08 p.m. <br /> <br />2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />2.01: City Board and Commission Interviews <br /> <br />Human Resources Generalist Hurd stated that there will be two interviews this evening for two <br />open seats on the Environmental Policy Board (EPB). <br /> <br />The Council conducted the two interviews of the candidates, asking the same questions of each <br />applicant. <br /> <br />The Council discussed the applicants who interviewed this evening. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Council was to appoint Paula Houts to the four-year term and appoint Nick <br />Burgess to the partial one-year term. <br /> <br /> <br />3.
