Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #92-03-053 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RE-ESTABLISHING PRECINCT BOUNDARIES WITHIN THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, under MN Statutes 204B. 13 Subdivision 3(c), precinct boundaries must he <br />established within a specified schedule; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the above referenced schedule now results in a mandate for Council action <br />by March 30, 1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey, after redistricting, is wholly located within a legislative <br />district described as 50B; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, under Ramsey City Charter municipal elections are held "at large". <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the precinct boundaries established by Resolution #89-08-191 adopted on August 8, <br /> 1989 are hereby re-established. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gilbertson <br /> Councilmember Peterson <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Hardin <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 24th day of March, 1992. ~~ <br /> Many'or <br /> <br /> <br />
