Commissioner Deemer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #92-03-055 <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING TERMS OF VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT AN <br />ACCESSORY STRUCTURE NEARER THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE THAN <br /> THE PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE ON LOT 5, BLOCK 1, <br /> BOWERS MISSISSIPPI ACRES 2ND ADDITION <br /> <br />On March 26, 1992, the Ramsey Board of Adjustment issued a variance from Section 9.11.02 of <br />the Ramsey City Code to permit Mr. Dennis E. Harper, Sr., to construct an accessory structure <br />nearer the front property line than the principal structure on the property generally known as 14390 <br />Bowers Drive N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 5, Block 1, Bowers Mississippi Acres 2nd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />This variance was issued pursuant to the authorization of Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City <br />Code. The terms of this variance are as follows: <br /> <br />The accessory structure constructed on the subject property shah not be located any <br />closer than one hundred fifteen (115) feet from the front property line. <br /> <br />The accessory structure shall be constructed of materials similar in appearance to <br />that of the principal structure on the property. <br /> <br />The temporary storage shed located on the property shall be removed within sixty <br />(60) days of completion of the new accessory structure. <br /> <br />The height of the accessory structure to be constructed shall not exceed sixteen (16) <br />feet as measured from ground level to roof ridge. <br /> <br />That the issuance of a building permit for the accessory structure is contingent upon <br />the property owner providing a certificate of survey for the property. <br /> <br />No other structures or additions shall be constructed in the reduced front yard <br />setback unless the property owner applies for and is granted a variance for same. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner <br />Terry and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Chairperson Terry Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner David Bawden <br />Commissioner Ben Deemer <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br /> <br /> <br />
