Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION //92-05-084 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CERTIFYING PETITION AND ORDERING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g92-16 (EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER AND WATER TO <br />PIN: R25-32-25-23-0004) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider water and sewer <br />extension to PIN: R25-32-25-23-0004; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful <br />signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the City Charter and <br />Minnesota Statutes conceming local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of water and sewer <br />extension to PIN: R25-32-25-23-0004 has been filed with the City Council on May 12, 1992. The <br />petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This <br />declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota StatUte Chapter <br />429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer who is instructed to prepare a <br />feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way <br />as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of the project to each affected <br />property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed <br />or in conjunction with some other improvement. <br /> <br />3) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project//92-16. <br /> <br />Tile motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hardin and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councihnember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and tile following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />N one <br /> <br />of May, 1992. <br /> <br />Cit~ ~dministrator <br /> <br /> <br />
