Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g94-04-069 RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL OF A DIVISION OF LAND BY A METES AND BOUNDS DESCRIPTION BY DARNELL H. AND JANET L. BLUME WHEREAS, Darnell H and Janet L. Blume applied to the City of Ramsey for a division of land by a metes and bounds description; and WHEREAS, Section 9.50.09 of the Ramsey City Code permits the division and conveyance of land by metes and bounds description if compliance with the platting requirements presents an unnecessary hardship and failure to comply does not interfere with the purposes of the Subdivision Chapter;, and WHEREAS, the property owner desires to convey the new parcel created to Good Value Homes; and WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the new parcel created will be included in the Municipal Urban Service Area (MUSA) in the City's Revised Comprehensive Plan amendment dated October 20, 1993; and WHEREAS, it is anticipated that upon inclusion in the MUSA, the subject property wiI1 be platted and developed in accordance with Chapter 9.50 of the Ramsey City Code. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby waives the platting requirement and approves the division of certain property by metes and bounds description to create the following legally described property. That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying southwesterly and southerly of a line described as beginning at a point on the east line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter distant 332.67 feet north of the southeast comer thereof; thence North 64 degrees 06 minutes 57 seconds West, assumed basis for bearings, 736.10 feet, thence North 33 degrees 33 minutes 38 seconds West 766.24 feet to a point on the north line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter distant 223.50 feet east of the northwest corner thereof; thence South 88 degrees 54 minutes 41 seconds West 223.50 feet along said north line to said northwest comer and said line there terminating, according to the United States Government Survey thereof and situated in Anoka County, Minnesota The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gilbertson and upon voting being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Counoilmember Beyer Coun~ilmember Hardin Coun~ilmember Zimmerman
