Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-09-172 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ALLIED BLACKTOP, INC. FOR THE 11994 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - DIVISIONS A AND B (IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS #94-01 THROUGH #94-11) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on May 24, 1994; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted resolutions on July 12, 1994 awarding the bids to Allied Blacktop, Inc. for the 1994 Street Maintenance Program - Divisions A and B (Improvement Projects #94-01 through #94-11); and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recmnmends partial payment to Allied Blacktop, Inc. in the amount of $71,076.94. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Allied Blacktop, Inc. for the 1994 Street Maintenance Program - Divisions A and B (Improvement Projects #94-01 through #94- 11) in the amount of $71,076.94. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the completed work and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills! for the month of September, 1994. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Giibertson Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Petemon Counciimember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the folk)wing were absent: Councilmember Beyer whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of September, 1994.
