<br />Councilmember Olson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br />RESOLUTION #25-019
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR MSA
<br />SUNWOOD DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-02
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct Municipal State Aid (MSA) Sunwood
<br />Drive between Nowthen Boulevard (CSAH 5) and Erkium Street as identified within the 2025 – 2034
<br />Capital Improvement Plan; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-138, adopted May 28, 2024, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson, for topographic survey of the
<br />project area in the amount of $1,600.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-220, adopted August 12, 2024, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc., for a
<br />geotechnical report of the project area in the amount of $4,075.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-309, adopted November 12, 2024,
<br />the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal of Hydro-Klean, LLC, for sewer cleaning and
<br />televising of the project area in the amount of $8,384.80; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-338, adopted November 26, 2024,
<br />the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for MSA Sunwood Drive
<br />Reconstruction, Improvement Project #25-02; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-355, adopted on December 10,
<br />2024, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and
<br />authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking from Hakanson Anderson for said
<br />improvements in the amount of $6,500.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday December 13 and Friday
<br />December 20, 2024; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, ten (10) bids were received, opened and tabulated on January 13, 2025, and the
<br />following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids;
<br />and
