<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br />RESOLUTION #25-025
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO DAVE PERKINS CONTRACTING,
<br />INC. FOR HALLS DOVER ACRES STREET RECONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT
<br />PROJECT #24-02
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Halls Dover
<br />Acres subdivision; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-130, adopted June 13,
<br />2023, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for topographic
<br />survey of the project area; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-129, adopted June 27,
<br />2023, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Chosen Valley Testing, Inc., for a
<br />geotechnical report of the project area; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-198, adopted August 22,
<br />2023, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said
<br />improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-014, adopted on January
<br />9, 2024, the City Council approved final plans and specification as prepared by the City Engineer
<br />and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking and As-built Survey of
<br />$27,144.00 from Bolton and Menk, Inc. for said improvements; and
<br />
<br />,
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-064, adopted February 27
<br />2024, a contract was awarded to Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the
<br />amount of $844,919.01 for said improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, as of February 25, 2025 $964,753.07 has been paid to date; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and
<br />recommends final payment to Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. of Nowthen Minnesota, for
<br />improvement project #24-02 Halls Dover Acres Street Reconstruction, in the amount of
<br />$17,299.98.

<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA:
<br />
<br />1) The City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc of
<br />Nowthen, Minnesota for Improvement Project #24-02, Halls Dover Acres Street
<br />Reconstruction in the amount of $17,299.98.
