<br />Councilmember Olson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br />
<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR HIGH POINT
<br />STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-05
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the High
<br />Point Subdivision as identified within the 2025 – 2034 Capital Improvement Program; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-198, adopted July 23,
<br />2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for
<br />topographic survey of the project area in the amount of $7,650.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-220, adopted August 12,
<br />2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies,
<br />Inc., for a geotechnical report of the project area in the amount of $8,880.00; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-340, adopted November
<br />26, 2024, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for High
<br />Point Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project #25-05; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-042, adopted February
<br />25, 2025, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City
<br />Engineer and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday February 28 and
<br />Friday March 7, 2025; and
<br />WHEREAS, eight (8) bids were received, opened and tabulated on Thursday April 10,
<br />2025, and the following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications
<br />and advertisement for bids; and

<br />WHEREAS, the bid of North Valley, Inc. in the amount of $1,366,954.38 for the total
<br />bid for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and
<br />specifications and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be
<br />and hereby is accepted.
