<br />Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-287 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2026-2035 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />(CIP) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Charter states that the City of Ramsey will adopt a Capital <br />Improvement Program (CIP) annually; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the CIP will consist of at least five years, and will estimate the future needs <br />for the public health, safety and welfare of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the CIP shall consist of projects and facilities (capital improvements) <br />proposed to be undertaken during the next ten fiscal years, which is 2026-2035 with appropriate <br />supporting information as to the necessity of such improvements, cost estimates, and method of <br />financing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a forecasting tool and not actual, <br />committed projects and expenditures. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />1) The City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the adoption of the 2026-2035 Capital <br />Improvement Program (CIP) <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heineman <br />Councilmember Peters <br />Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br />Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
