Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br />
<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR COUNTRYSIDE
<br />ESTATES STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-04
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Countryside Estates
<br />subdivision as identified within the 2026 – 2035 Capital Improvement Plan; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, 2025, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk for topographic survey of the project
<br />area in the amount of $14,528.50; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-101, adopted May 13, 2025, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. for geotechnical
<br />survey of the project area in the amount of $15,175.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-138, adopted June 24, 2025, the
<br />City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Countryside Estates Street
<br />Reconstructions, Improvement Project #26-04; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-207, adopted September 9, 2025, a
<br />contract was awarded to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. for additional Geotechnical services in the
<br />amount of $4,930.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-207, adopted September 9, 2025, a
<br />contract was awarded to Bolton & Menk, Inc. for additional topographic survey in the amount of $5,464.00;
<br />and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-009, adopted on January 13, 2026,
<br />the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized
<br />advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking from Bolton & Menk, Inc. for said
<br />improvements in the amount of $64,116.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday January 16 and Friday
<br />January 23, 2026; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, eight (8) bids were received, opened and tabulated on February 11, 2026, and the
<br />following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids;
<br />and
