Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Larry Bakken, Facilitator <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 10:03 a.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Review and Discussion of Organizational Study Recommendations <br /> <br />Interim City Administrator Nelson provided an overview of the main recommendations and <br />status of the City of Ramsey Organizational Study that was completed in 2006. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />1. Separate Fire Chief and Public Works Director Positions <br />a. Hire Engineering Support <br />b. Create Public Works Superintendent Position <br /> <br />Status <br />1. Departments have been separated <br />a.
