Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-101 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND AUTHORIZING BIDS FOR 2026 <br />PAVEMENT SKIM PATCHING, MAINTENANCE PROJECT #26-53 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, numerous public streets in the City of Ramsey require pavement patching; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a total of 3.36 miles of public streets are recommended for skim patching in <br />2026; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted a budget for 2026 including $650,000 to <br />maintain bituminous pavement on numerous public street segments in support of the City’s <br />Pavement Management Program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has Public Improvement Revolving Funds available <br />above the 2026 budgeted funds to maintain bituminous pavement on numerous public street <br />segments. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1.) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plan prepared by the City Engineer and <br />authorizes advertisements for bids for 2026 Pavement Skim Patching, Maintenance Project <br />#26-53. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br />
