Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-123 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR ITASCA HEIGHTS <br />STREET CONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #27-08 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the streets within the Itasca Heights subdivision are proposed to be converted <br />from existing gravel road to bituminous pavement in 2027 as identified in the 2026 – 2035 Capital <br />Improvement Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-220, adopted August 12, <br />2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, <br />Inc. for geotechnical survey of the project area in the amount of $8,495.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-099, adopted March 24, <br />2026, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for topographic <br />survey of the project area in the amount of $1,140.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Staff has the capacity to prepare plans and specifications for the Itasca <br />Heights Street Construction, Improvement Project #27-08. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby orders the City Engineer to prepare plans and <br />specifications for Itasca Heights Street Construction, Improvement Project #27-08. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br />
