Commissioner Lubarski introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #26-110 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION, CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA, CONCERNING THE RAMSEY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY'S REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA PROPOSAL WHEREAS, the proposal by the Ramsey Economic Development Authority to establish a Redevelopment Project Area as described herein (the "Redevelopment Project Area"), in connection with the development of an approximately 100,000 square-foot youth athletic facility located on 10 acres in the City of Ramsey, Minnesota, and adopting the Redevelopment Plan for the Redevelopment Project Area (the "Plan"); all pursuant to and in conformity with applicable law, including Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.101, 469.001 through 469.047, and 469.090 through 469.1082; have been submitted to the Planning Commission, City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the "Commission"); and WHEREAS, the Commission has reviewed the Plan to determine the consistency of the Plan with the Comprehensive Plan of the City. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Plan is consistent with the City of Ramsey Comprehensive Plan and the Commission recommends approval of the Plan to the City of Ramsey City Council. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Allshouse, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Vice Chair Randy Bauer Commissioner Jeffrey Lubarski Commissioner Michael Allshouse Commissioner Bradley Cochrane Commissioner Debra Musgrove Commissioner Layee Sanoe and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
