Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-142 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONNEXUS ENERGY TO PREPARE PLANS AND <br />AGREEMENTS FOR RIVERDALE DRIVE AND HIGHWAY 10 FRONTAGE ROADS <br />STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS; IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 26-12 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the adopted 2026-2035 Capital Improvement Program includes proposed <br />street lighting improvement projects #19-STLT-002 along unlit sections of Riverdale Drive, and <br />#26-SLT-001 along the new Highway 10 Frontage Road segments constructed with the Ramsey <br />Gateway Highway 10 Improvements project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Connexus Eneregy is the sole vendor available to the City of Ramsey for <br />providing design, construction and maintenance services for street lighting improvements, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 21, 2026, the Public Works Committee unanimously <br />recommended City Council approval for Connexus Energy to prepare plans and agreements for <br />said street lighting improvements projects. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The City Council hereby authorizes Connexus Energy to design and prepare plans and <br />agreements for the construction and maintenance of said street lighting improvements. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Peterson <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
