Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-216 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE “PROPOSED” 2027 CITY OF RAMSEY GENERAL <br />FUND OPERATING BUDGET <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the “Proposed” annual budget of the City of Ramsey for the fiscal year beginning <br />January 1, 2027 is hereby adopted for the General Fund as follows: <br /> <br /> GENERAL FUND <br /> Revenues: <br /> Property Taxes $19,672,050 <br /> Licenses and Permits 1,024,350 <br /> Intergovernmental Revenues 926,300 <br /> Charges for Services 844,200 <br /> Fines and Forfeitures 48,000 <br /> Other Revenues- <br /> Interest Earnings 75,000 <br /> Miscellaneous 21,000 <br /> Other Financing Sources 2,354,670 <br /> Total Revenues $24,965,570 <br /> <br /> Operating and Capital Expenditures: <br /> General Government $ 6,172,530 <br /> Public Safety 11,478,461 <br /> Public Works 4,488,977 <br /> Parks and Recreation 2,644,229 <br /> Contingency 25,000 <br /> Other Financing Uses 156,373 <br /> Total Operating and Capital Expenditures $ 24,965,570 <br /> <br />2) That the Finance Director be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the <br />Anoka County Auditor’s office on or before Wednesday, September 30, 2026. <br /> <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
