PUBLIC HEARING <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Board of Adjustment conducted a public heating on Tuesday, June 2, 1998, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota, to hear input <br />regarding a request for a Variance to Construct an Accessory Structure Nearer the Front Property <br />Line than the Principal Structure; Case of Richard Mitchell. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Benjamin Deemer <br />Board Member Leo Anderson <br />Board Member David Bawden <br />Board Member Sharon Jensen <br />Board Member Joe Wivoda <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Board Member Charles LaDue <br />Board Member Michael Terry <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Assistant Sean Walther <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Deemer called the public hearing to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik explained the parcel is approximately 2.7 acres in size, and the house <br />is located approximately 155 feet from the front property line. The applicant is proposing to <br />construct a garage approximately 90 feet from the front property line. Ms. Frolik indicated the <br />site plan and on-site inspection revealed declines in topography, substantial mature tree growth, <br />and drainfield and alternate drainfield locations which prohibit construction of an accessory <br />garage in the side or rear yard. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Jensen, seconded by Board Member Bawden, to close the public <br />hearing at 7:06 p.m. <br /> <br />Public Hearing/Board of Adjustment/June 2, 1998 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
