The existing sign size at Ampride is 104 square feet.
Ampride is a convenience store facility and the applicant indicates that the 100 square feet of sign
space is not adequate for advertising weekly specials in the store. They are asking for the minimum
amount of sign space necessary to alleviate their hardship -- a 21 square foot reader board to be
added to their pylon sign.

Acting Chairperson Deemer inquired regarding the type of sign being proposed. Mr. Zeiser,
representing the applicant, advised they are proposing a pricing board with manual lettering.

CITIZEN INPUT

None.

Public Hearing/Planning Commission/July 7, 1997
Page 1 of 2
