She explained the applicant has requested an
interim use permit for a temporary structure in which to operate their business while the permanent
structure is under development.

CITIZEN INPUT

Terry Hendrickson, 15631 Ramsey Boulevard, explained that businesses were beneficial to the City
through taxes and the increase in jobs. Mr. Hendrickson stated that by approving this temporary
structure, the City would be creating a significant competitive advantage to this bank, as there is
another bank being developed across the street. Mr. Hendrickson cautioned the Commission of
giving unfair advantages to businesses.

Jim Connelly, 16235 Kamacite Street, asked if the land has been transferred to the bank. Kevin
Johnson, of Johnson Holdings, P.O. Box 250, Isanti, explained that the terms of the agreement stated
there would be no land transfer until the bank development was completed.

Public Hearing/Planning Commission/August 6, 1996
Page I of 2
