ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The City of Ramsey Economic Development Authority (EDA) conducted a regular meeting on <br />Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Vice Chairperson Wayne Skaff <br />Member Philip Brunt <br />Member Glen Hardin <br />Member Chris Riley <br />Member Kristine Williams <br />Members Absent: Chairperson Jim Steffen <br />Member John LeTourneau <br />Also Present: Ted LaFrance, Economic Development Manager <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Vice Chairperson Skaff called the Economic Development Authority meeting to order at 7:30 <br />a.m. <br />2. APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Member Hardin, seconded by Member Brunt, to approve the agenda. Motion carried. <br />Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Skaff, Members Hardin, Brunt, Riley, and Williams. Voting No: <br />None. Absent: Chairperson Steffen and Member LeTourneau. <br />3. APPROVE MINUTES <br />3.01: Approve the Following Meeting Minutes: <br />1) EDA Regular Meeting — May 8, 2014 <br />Motion by Member Hardin, seconded by Member Brunt, to approve the meeting minutes dated <br />May 8, 2014. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Skaff, Members Hardin, Brunt, <br />Riley, and Williams. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Steffen and Member LeTourneau. <br />4. EDA BUSINESS <br />4.01: Finance and Commerce Advertisement with CBRE <br />Economic Development Manager LaFrance explained that Finance and Commerce recently <br />contacted the City about an issue planned for August related to TOD and suggested the City use <br />this issue as an opportunity to capitalize on its projects in conjunction with CBRE by securing a <br />Economic Development Authority /June 12, 2014 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
