PUBLIC HEARING' <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, June 6, 1995 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding a request for a conditional use permit to store commercial equipment in the R-1 Rural <br />Residential District; case of Don Godden. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the public hearing to order at 7:38 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik advised that Section 9.11.10 (off-street parking) of the Ramsey City <br />Code states that no more than one one-ton motor vehicle beating a commercial license shall be <br />parked or stored in a residential district. Pursuant to a neighborhood sweep for Code enforcement <br />purposes, Don Godden has applied for a conditional use permit to store and maintain his semi- <br />tractor and trailer on his property at 9027 176th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Thomd and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to include as part of the <br />public record of this hearing the letter received from Renee and Paul Harstad in support of the <br />request (attached hereto as Exhibit A). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Thorud, Deemer, <br />Hendriksen, and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Holland and Terry. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Thorud to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Thorud, <br />Henddksen, and LaDue. Voting No: None.
