Ramsey is waiting for a definitive <br />crossing position from the City of Dayton. At the same time, Ramsey is updating the <br />transportation element of its Comprehensive Plan. A public hearing on this plan will occur <br />March 21, 1995. Staff from Anoka and Ramsey have met with representatives of MnDOT <br />on this issue. <br /> <br />Funding Request from the Minnesota Board of Government Innovation <br /> <br />Anoka and Ramsey had previously requested funding from the Minnesota Board of <br />Government Innovation for a joint infrastructure study in the two industrial parks. <br />Funding from this source was not realized. It is intended to request funds in the next cycle <br />but to work on pieces of infras~cture such as storm sewer as the opportunity arises. <br /> <br />Joint Powers Agreement for Joint Use of Anoka Animal Containment <br />Facility <br /> <br />The Anoka Police Chief has met with Chiefs from Coon Rapids and Ramsey to work on a <br />joint powers agreement for joint use of the Anoka animal containment facility. Anoka is <br />considering improvement of the facility in an estimated amount of $78 - $80,000.
