PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, April 5, 1994 at the <br />Rarnsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding a request for a conditional use permit to expand an outdoor recreational facility in the <br />Industrial District; case of KRS Investments. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thomd <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson'~ called the public hearing to order at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Ty Ritter of KRS Investments has purchased the outdoor <br />recreational facility located on Lot 2, Block 1, HY-10 Ramsey, formerly known as Cheap Thrills. <br />She advised the subject property is located in the Industrial District and that Mr. Ritter is proposing <br />to expand the facility by the addition of batting cages. She explained the use is in the Industrial <br />District because of a conditional use permit (CUP) issued by the City in 1988, and the CUP <br />process is required in order to expand or enlarge upon the use. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Thorud to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Thomd, Deemer, <br />Hendriksen, LaDue, and Terry.
