PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, July 5, 1994 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding a request to rezone certain property from Industrial to R-1 Urban Residential, Multiple <br />Residential (MR) and B-2 Business; case of North Suburban Development Company, Inc. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Ben Deemer <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the public hearing to order at 7:55 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that North Suburban Development Company, Inc. has recently <br />received final plat approval of Sunfish Square, a 40-acre parcel consisting of 69 single family <br />residential lots, 8.7 acres of multiple residential units and 1 acre of commercial. She explained that <br />the property is currently zoned Industrial, and the rezoning to single family, multiple residential <br />and commercial is necessary to facilitate the approved plat. Ms. Frolik noted that the Multiple <br />Residential designation allows up to 15 units per acre, and the concept plan submitted for this <br />portion of the plat proposes 9 units per acre. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer noted that this plat is on the opposite side of Hunters Hill from the Chestnut <br />Hill plat which was discussed at the public hearing preceding this hearing. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None.
