CHARTER COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Charter Commission conducted a regular meeting on Thursday, December 16, <br />1993, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Bernard Steffen <br />Commissioner Dennis Donovan <br />Commissioner Keith Kiefer <br />Commissioner Judy Mann <br />Commissioner Rodney Nelson <br />Commissioner Jay Swokowski <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner John Goode <br />Commissioner Richard Netzloff <br />Commissioner Virginia Spain Brist <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Steffen called the regular meeting of the Charter Commission to order at 7:34 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Swokowski and seconded by Commissioner Nelson to approve <br />the following minutes: <br /> <br />1) Charter Commission meeting minutes dated September 16, 1993 <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Steffen, Commissioners Swokowski, Nelson, <br />Donovan, Kiefer and Marn. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Goode, Netzloff <br />and Spain Brist. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus of the Commission was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case gl: Re-review of Chapter 7 of the Charter <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that Chapter 7 of the City Charter is now being <br />presented for final action by the Charter Commission. Mr. Schroeder also disseminated the <br />1994 - 2000 Capital Improvement Plan, the 1994 Work Plan and the Residential Activity <br />Forecast. He presented a general overview of each of the handouts. He requested that the <br />Charter Commission review the information and suggest changes if they desire. <br /> <br />The Charter Commission re-reviewed Chapter 7 of the Charter.
