Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #08-01-009 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2007 CITY OF RAMSEY ENTERPRISE FUNDS BUDGETS WHEREAS, during the year 2007, the Ramsey City Council acted on matters impacting revenue and expenditures budgets of the City's enterprise funds for items that were not included in the original budget for the year ended December 31, 2007; and WHEREAS, for financial reporting purposes, amendments to the City's enterprise funds budgets are to be made in the form of a Budget Amendment Resolution; and WHEREAS, the following budget amendments are required to confirm Council's actions taken by motion and/or discussion and to reflect actual activity for the year ended December 31, 2007: WATER UTILITY FUND #601 To amend revenue activities based on budget amendments made by Council action during 2007 and actual moneys received over (under) budget from $1,299,220 to $720,661 for a total net increase of $578,559: Water Sales Investment Earnings Net Increase in Water Utility Fund Budgeted Revenues $478,559 100.000 $578.559 To amend expenditure activities based on wage contract settlements, budget amendments made by Council action during 2007 and actual moneys spent over (under) budget from $1,169,549 to $1,042,840 for a total net decrease of$126,709: Personal Services Supplies Other Services and Charges Depreciation Net Decrease in Water Utility Fund Budgeted Expenses $6,210 (34,000) (54,550) (44.369) $(126.709) SEWER UTILITY FUND #602 To amend revenue activities based on budget amendments made by Council action during 2007 and actual moneys received over (under) budget from $1,173,301 to $1,203,238 for a total net increase of $29,937: Sewer Charges Interest Earned on Investments Net Increase in Sewer Utility Fund Budgeted Revenues $(63) 30.000 $29.937
