BUDGET COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramse~t'~Budget Committee conducted a meeting on Tuesday, July 14, 1992 at the Ramsey <br />Municipal C, nte~:, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br /> Members Present: Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> ~ Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> Councilmember Glen Hardin (arrived at 6:56 p.m.) <br /> <br /> Also Present: City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br /> ~ Finance Officer Sandra Helling <br /> <br />CALL TO .ORI)ER <br /> <br />Councilmeraber Peterson called the Budget Committee meeting to order at 6:48 p.m. <br />CITIZEN ~INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVE: ACxENDA <br /> <br />Consensus Was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case gl: : Emerald Pond Park Development. <br /> <br />City Admin[strat0r Schroeder stated that the park dedication requirement for the developments of <br />Windemere ~Woo~l,~ s, Chestnut Ponds, Chestnut Hill, Cedar Hill and Wood Pond Hills would be a <br />combination!of land and cash dedication. <br /> <br />The membSrs of the Budget Committee discussed the individual expenditures for park <br />developmen't. It Was decided that the parking lot with sewer and water extension underneath for <br />future restro~ms would be included at an estimated cost of $16,500. <br /> <br />Motion by COunoilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to recommend that <br />City Counei~ authorize the Parks Department to solicit bids for the development of "Emerald Pond <br />Park" includlng the parking lot with sewer and water extension underneath. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beyer, Hardin and Peterson.
