BOARD OF REVIEW <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Board_ of Review reconvened their meeting from April 15, 1992 on Wednesday, April <br />29, 1992 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members PreSent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present~ <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />City Assessor John Keefe <br />Anoka County Deputy Assessor Ed Thurston <br /> <br />Members AbSent: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />Councilmembcr Pcterson called the Board of Review meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />City Assessor John Keefe stated he met with the following people and made the following <br />changes: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Lawrence Boike - 29-32-25-24-0001 and 29-32-25-21-0002 - reassessed this property as <br />one l~ge parcel. Combined parcels equal less value per acre. The first parcel decreased <br />from'$:~0,300 to 19,000 and the second from $97,100 to $90,600. <br /> <br />James Stnlvwe - 22-32-25-24-0009 - his parcel was listed in the City's name and after the <br />split, the value for his house and land totaled $80,000. <br /> <br />James iFitzpatrick - has two parcel numbers on the Mississippi River. In 1990, zoning <br />would ~have allowed him to split the lot but now along the Mississippi River Corridor you <br />have~0 have five acres to split. This changed his property from two buildable lots to one <br />and decreased the value of the additional parcel from $23,100 to $3,700. <br /> <br />Mary Jo Feltl - BMA Associates - he stated that with six different parcel numbers, the <br />parcols were valued separately; however, they are really under common ownership but <br />purcliasedfrom different owners. The value decreased from $422,200 to $377,100. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />Anoka Industrial Park, Inc. - consists of 12 different parcels and he valued them <br />sepamt~ely. Combined, it totals about 173 acres and the value changes from $545,900 to <br />$452,300. <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />Bernie Vevea - 34-32-25-11-0008 and 34-32-25-11-0009 - he reclassified the property but <br />the value stayed the same. <br /> <br />7) <br /> <br />8) <br /> <br />Wayne Johnson - Settled at the first meeting. <br /> <br />Doug Hanson - nothing further - didn't really request anything. <br /> <br />Board of Review/April 29, 1992 <br /> Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
