Nelson <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Community Development Director Amber Miller (arrived at 7:42 p.m.) <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Parks Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br />Park and Recreation Commission Chair Jill Johns <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 7:28 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Sunfish Lake Park <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood introduced Jeff Schoenbauer and Jason Hamburg from Brauer and <br />Associates who has been helping the City in planning for Sunfish Lake Park. He stated that the <br />City is trying to get resident feedback on what they would like to see in the parks and noted that <br />700 letters have been sent out to residents and businesses within 3,000 feet of the park looking <br />for this information. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoenbauer stated that they have looked at a few different scenarios for the park. He stated <br />that one option incorporated a trail around the north side of the lake that connected to school <br />property and another focused on intersecting trails through the park to the other area parks.
