PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Rams¢~ Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, May 5, <br />1992 at tho ,Rarrls~ ey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen, Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, to <br />hear a request for preliminary plat approval of Fleischer s 2nd Addition; Case of Jack Menkveld, <br />North Suburban Development Company. <br /> <br />Members Pr~senl~: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commtsstoner Terry Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Also Present; <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer S teven Jankowski <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson rBawden called the public hearing to order at 7:50 p.m. <br />PRESENTJiTi~ON: <br /> <br />Zoning AdMiniStrator Frolik stated that North Suburban Development Company is requesting <br />preliminary l~lat itpproval of Fleischer's 2nd Addition. The plat consists of approximately 48 acres <br />to be divided!iht6 85 lots and would be serviced by City sewer and water. <br />CITIZEN iNPUT <br />John Bona, 5~540- 149th Lane N.W. - stated he thought he would be on a dead-end road and now <br />Fluorine S~r~et Will be coming through on the edge of his property. He has two children and <br />expressed a .~onCern regarding the additional traffic. He also expressed concern regarding the <br />drainage oflswamp land. <br />Mike SverCl,i 5620 - 149th Lane N.W. - stated he is also concerned about the through street - he <br />felt the dev¢lbpet should make an engineering change in his drawings because the residents don't <br />want that through street. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by COmmissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried,~ Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, <br />Hendriksen, LaDue, Terry and Thorud.
