<br />FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 24,2008, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Parks Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Strommen called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 5:35 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Chair Strommen stated that Parks Supervisor Riverblood has asked that Case #13 from tonight's <br />regular City Council agenda be added to the Finance Committee agenda as Case #3. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to approve the agenda <br />with the addition of Case #3, Sunfish Lake Park - Master Plan Adoption and Park Development. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Strommen, Councilmembers Elvig and Look. Voting <br />No: None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Establish Value of Existing Fire Engine for Re-Sale <br /> <br />Fire Chief Kapler stated that the City will take possession of the new fire engine tomorrow and <br />needs to establish the value of the vehicle being replaced. He noted that Bums Township, soon <br />to be the City ofNowthen, plans to purchase this vehicle as part of the Joint Powers Agreement. <br />He stated that he has received two appraisals on the vehicle value. One appraisal came from <br />Brindlee Mountain at $20,000, the other was from Berry Emergency Vehic1es for between <br /> <br />Finance Committee I June 24, 2008 <br />Page 1 of5 <br />
