<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Member Absent: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey (arrived at 5:50 p.m.) <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br /> <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br /> <br />City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Community Development Director Amber Miller <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Police Captain Tim Dwyer <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sean Sullivan <br />Associate Planner Timothy Gladhill <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 5 :31 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that Mimi Doran and Denise Lacher from the River Run Car <br />Show that used to operate out of Anoka are present. He stated that they will no longer be <br />running the show in Anoka and are looking for feedback from the Council to see if there is any <br />opposition to starting up a show in Ramsey this summer. <br /> <br />Ms. Doran stated that they are actually wearing two hats tonight; 1) to discuss the River Town <br />Community Partnership, which runs the classic car show; and 2) the Udderly Unique Farmer's <br />Market. She stated that they met with staff last week to talk about the car show and also got into <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / March 3, 2009 <br />Page 1 of 17 <br />
