<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-01-021 <br /> <br />ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF THE PART-TIME BUILDING MAINTENANCE <br />WORKER AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO CONTINUE RECRUITMENT PROCESS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in October 2008 the City hired Steve Paquette as a part-time Building <br />Maintenance Worker, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Paquette resigned effective January 12,2009, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there continues to be a need for this position based on the attached Needs <br />Assessment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKACOUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />1) Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Accept Steven Paquette's resignation and authorize staff to continue the fall 2008 <br />recruitment process to fill the vacancy in the Building Maintenance Division. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoptionofthe foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Look, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br />
