PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, February <br />5, 1991, for a request for a conditional use permit to maintain a commercial vehicle larger than one <br />ton in a Residential District; Case of David Pehlke. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairman Gerald Zimmerman <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner David Bawden <br />Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the Public Hearing to order at 7:33 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. David Pehlke was present and stated he would like to park his two ton truck with tank used for <br />pumping septic tanks at his home. He added that he has pine trees all around his lot so the truck <br />won't be visible and that he owns three parcels totalling three acres of land. <br /> <br />Chris Boraas, 15030 Fluorine Street N.W. - asked what the City typically does in a situation such <br />as this when something is not allowed. <br /> <br />Chairman Zin]merman answered that a conditional use permit has to be applied for. <br /> <br />Mr. Boraas asked what the conditions would be. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmmrnan replied that the Commission would discuss the conditions during the case. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Chairman Deemer to adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners LaDue, Deemer, Terry and <br />Thorud. Voting No: None.
