PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, February <br />5, 1991 for a request for a conditional use permit to have exterior storage as a principal use of <br />property in the Rural Industrial District; Case of Roger Munter, Elite Concrete. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairman Gerald Zimmerman <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner David Bawden <br />Commissioner Ten-y Hendriksen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmeirnan called the Public Hearing to order at 7:37 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. Roger Munter was present. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that she received a call from Nordvik Industries stating <br />opposition to this conditional use permit. However, if the CUP is approved, they felt that vision <br />obstruction lats should be installed on all four sides of the fence instead of two and that the fence <br />should be from seven to eight feet tall. They expressed the feeling that surfacing an exterior <br />surface is less important than proper screening. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Thorud and seconded by Commissioner Terry to adjourn the Public <br />Hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Thorud, Terry, Deemer and <br />LaDue. Voting No: None.
