PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing to hear a request to rezone certain <br />property from B-1 Business to R-3 Urban Residential; Case of Lord of Life Church on Tuesday, <br />May 7, 199I at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairman Gerald Zimmerman <br />Commissioner David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the public hearing to order at 7:38 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mike Loken, representing Lord of Life Church, stated that the church has purchased 16 acres and <br />they have the option to purchase an additional seven acres for frontage onto County Road #5 and <br />Highway #47. They are requesting a zoning change from B-1 to Ro3 to permit development of a <br />church. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners LaDue, Deemer, Bawden <br />and Hendriksen. Voting No: None.
