<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #10-01-011 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 08-34 (BITUMINOUS PAVING OF 151 ST AVE, 152ND <br />AVE & FLUORINE ST IN SECTION 24) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted on June 9, 2008 <br />in response to a petition, a feasibility report for street improvements to 151 st Ave, 152nd Ave and <br />Fluorine Street in Section 24 has been received, having been prepared by Steve Jankowski, <br />Assistant City Engineer; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted a resolution on November 10, 2009, <br />fixing a date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement; and' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was <br />given, and the hearing was held on December 8 ,2009, at which time all persons desiring to be <br />heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the time available for the receipt of a petition opposing the project has <br />expired; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed III the <br />feasibility study report. <br /> <br />2) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. <br /> <br />3) That the Engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such <br />improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Look and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmemher Wise <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #10-01-011 <br />Page lof 2 <br />
