CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />Members Absent: Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Deputy City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />City Clerk Jo Thieling <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Charter Member Harry Niska <br />Charter Member Gloria Kackman <br />Charter Member Joe Field <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Acting Mayor Look called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:06 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Discuss Proposed Ballot Language for Plan of Government <br />City Clerk Thieling summarized the process and timeline. <br />The Council and Charter Commission members discussed the language and how to educate the <br />residents on the different forms of Government. <br />Acting Mayor Look stated this was not acommunity-splitting event, but was an event in <br />anticipation of growth that did not occur and it should not be a contentious issue in the <br />community. <br />City Council Work Session /June 22, 2010 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
